‘ENGAGE Oasis’ Wants To Be The “LinkedIn Of The Metaverse”

by admin

The Ready Player One-inspired corporate metaverse will serve as a platform for businesses to sell products and services.

VR Education, the team behind the virtual education and training platform ENGAGE, today announced a new addition to its growing ecosystem of virtual communication solutions, ENGAGE Oasis.

Launching the first half of next year, this corporate metaverse will serve as a virtual meeting ground for businesses, professionals, and college students looking to sell their products or services while developing key business relationships remotely from anywhere in the world.

The ambitious VR platform is designed specifically for corporate use, allowing everyone, from large organizations to smaller operations, the opportunity to expand their user base by providing various remote services in immersive VR, all of which conducted using a combination of cryptocurrencies, fiat currencies, and NFTs.

As stated earlier, ENGAGE Oasis is directly inspired by the virtual world featured in Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One. As such, the business-oriented metaverse will be fully persistent, meaning you’ll be able to log in 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The hope, according to VRE, is that the platform will develop into a “cloud-based digital city” where business can be conducted around the clock.

All aspects of the platform, from the avatars to the in-world locations, will be tailor-made for professional use. That being said, there will be no limit to the branding opportunities afforded to clients utilizing the platform, allowing owners of each sector to establish their own specific guidelines and restrictions based on their respective needs. As a result, one area of the platform could look drastically different from another depending on the owner.

“If Rec Room and Roblox are the TikTok and Twitch of the metaverse, we want ENGAGE Oasis to be the LinkedIn of the metaverse,” said David Whelan, CEO of VRE, in an official release. “We think that young professionals, corporations, digital artists, and service providers will love all the opportunities being part of the metaverse will lead to. With the pandemic and climate change causing businesses to rethink how they interact externally and internally, the virtual world provided by ENGAGE Oasis has the potential for exponential growth.”

ENGAGE is already a leader in the world of virtual communications, and our growing client base and proven technology underlines our belief that we can become the leader in the corporate metaverse. We look forward to updating the market on our progress, including launch partners, in the coming months.”

So far, VRE’s ENGAGE platform has attracted an impressive 100 clients in just two years, some of which are major players within the XR market. This includes Facebook, Abbott Laboratories, KPMG, MongoDB, even the US State Department. With the addition of its ENGAGE Oasis corporate metaverse, VRE has taken yet another step towards establishing a functional VR ecosystem centered around its Virtual Campus, Virtual Office, and Virtual Events solutions.

Available now on major VR headsets, desktops, and compatible iOS & Android devices, VRE’s ENGAGE has served as home to numerous virtual events since its launch back in 2016. This past March, Morehouse College announced that it was launching two new classes conducted exclusively in VR using the platform. More recently, HTC used the platform to announce a new partnership between Vive and Bandai Namco Pictures. These are just two examples of many.

ENGAGE Oasis is scheduled to launch the first half of 2022. For more information visit vreducationholdings.com.
